لقد تم تصميم منهج شهادة +A خصيصاً لفنيين الكمبيوترالمبتدئين والذين يرغبون الوقوف على أرض صلبة فى مجال صيانة الكمبيوتر، و يشمل محتوى الدورة التدريبية موضوعات حول كل من مكونات الكمبيوتر (Hardware) و نظم التشغيل (Operating Systems) والبرامج والتطبيقات واساسيات الشبكات حيث يتم توصيل ذلك من خلال الشرح و المحاضرات ومعامل الطلاب.

إن شهادة +A تساعد أى شخص يريد العمل فى مجال تكنولوجيـا المعلومـات (IT) و خبرته قليلة أو ليس لديه أى خبرة فى هذا المجال على الاطلاق ويريد تطوير نفسه فى هذا المجال . لذلك فإن الدورة التدريبية سوف تؤهل الطلاب لامتحانات شهادة +CompTIA A بالاضافة إلى بناء معرفة أساسية لامتحانات مايكروسوفت.

يتطلب الحصول على شهادة +A أداء الامتحانات الاتية:

• امتحان 701-220: و هو امتحان خاص بخدمة مكونات الكمبيوتر (Hardware).
• امتحان 702-220: و هو امتحان خاص بتكنولوجيات نظام التشغيل ((Operating Systems
